:exactly: looking to buy the PPE Xcelerator, not exactly looking for a ton of new hp but to improve the mpg. :rolleyes: has anyone bought one and installed it , what is your opinion of it;) own a 05 D,A GMC C,Cab , mpg is around 17 combine and 20 hy.

This would probably get more response if it was under "LLY Electronics" instead of here. Also, do a search for it, there have been lots of info about it posted here.

There are a few people on here that run that unit. It seems to get good reviews.

Even if you do gain 2 or 3 mpg consistently (which you likely won't) do you really think you will ever save what you spent on the programmer? It will be a LONG time paying it back. If you want more power, that is a different story. Don't do a programmer for fuel mileage gains alone. Some salesman aren't I?
