I was under my truck today and noticed the rear seal of the transer case where the drive chaft comes out is wet and leaking. Is this normal or a new problem that I add to my list of growing issues to bring to the dealer?

Mine does too, there is always a steady drop on the seal, nothing on the ground. 7k miles so far. I should prolly consider checking the fluid..lol

needs output shaft seal very common. is about .5 hr job.

What is the liklyhood of this gremlinblowing at speed, I most likely have to drive roughly 2000 miles across the desrt in a few weeks.
