i know this has been asked before but i can't seem to find it. i just bought a predator from my buddy cuz he sold it when he got the new bully dog triple programmer. and its vin locked to his truck, isn't there a way i can send it in and get it unlocked and updated. ive tried to email but haven't called just yet and haven't got a response yet from diablo. has anyone done this or know if its possible and if it is where to send it. o another thing do they do this for free like edge does?

Have to take it back to your buddy and set it back to stock I think. He's still got a map on his truck I guess.

he said he did that before i got it. but maybe not hes runnin the new program and it runs great he said.

I looked at there site. I had a question about it too. Seems it locks itself to that VIN once it's been programmed to a truck. You'll have to send it in to them to have it unlocked. ($75 charge)

I am in the process of doing this same thing. You have to call them (I sent several emails and only received an answer from the tech guys) after you call they will give you an RMA# AND you have to give them a credit card #. It is $75 + shipping (I think it was 9 bucks from Evansville to FLA.). It takes about 2 weeks turn-around time...I haven't gotten mine back yet. Do not send it to them without an RMA#!!! This is the number they gave me to call -------> (561)908-0040

side note: You might also wanna make sure you have the latest version which I believe is 1.1. You can find this info by plugging it in to your under-dash port and go to......um......the third choice I think it's called "Options" then "Tool ID". That'll tell you the version. Also, on that same screen...options....there is a choice of "Car Tune" this'll tell you if your buddy loaded the stock tune or not because it'll say "Stock Tune". And, if it doesn't say "Stock Tune" DiabloSport will not unlock it.
