Did you try disconnecting both batteries then hook them back up ?

Yes call Nick.
Did you put the stock ECM back in and does it start then?
Verify pins are all straight and not bent.

30-MINUTE LEARN PROCEDURE

1.Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
2.Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON, vehicle will not start.
3.Observe the SECURITY telltale. After approximately 10 minutes , the telltale will turn OFF.
4.Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds .
5.Repeat steps 1 through 4 two more times for a total of 3 cycles/30 minutes . The vehicle is now ready to relearn the Passlock(TM) Sensor Data Code and/or passwords on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK.
6.Start the engine. The vehicle has now learned the Passlock(TM) Sensor Data Code and/or password. IMPORTANT: The vehicle learns the Passlock(TM) Sensor Data Code and/or password on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to start the vehicle.
7.With a scan tool, clear any DTCs if needed. History DTCs will self clear after 100 ignition cycles.

I think this is the fix for your problem.

I was hoping it not be that. But you never know.

I had both batteries unhooked when I installed the Duramaxtuner. I will try unhooking both of them again. I did reinstall the old ECM and it popped right off with no security light. If unhooking the batteries doesnt work I will go through that relearn procedure. Thanks for all of the input.

Make sure your batteries are fully fully charged when you power up the new ecm. I had the same issue. Turned out that when i hooked the batteries back up, my fridge kicked in causing a voltage dip and it confused things.

Now go drive it and let us know what you think of the tune.

I did take it on a little test drive. I dont know if my expectations were to high or maybe I just need to drive it a little more during my daily routine but I dont think it is much of an improvement over my Bully Dog power pup that I started with. I am optimistic though I am sure once I spend a little more time driving it I will see/feel a difference.

Was the Bully Dog a big improvement? Does the exhaust brake work good?

what tune did you get?

It's just a single tune specific to a duramax van. I can honestly say I dont know what HP tune it is. I specified what I had, what it weighed, what other mods I had and they mailed me out an ECM.

I havent driven it enough to tell yet if the exhaust brake is an improvement. The Bully Dog worked great but my fuel mileage was terrible with any level of tune other than stock. I have had such good luck with the DuramaxTuner in my pick up that I wanted to try one in my van.

Awesome that you got it started, I can't wait to have my ecm flashed at the beginning of the year, I am looking forward to it. I should have all my work done within the next 3 weeks at most :D

I am sure if you call nick and tell him it's not what was expected he will make a better tune for you.

I wanted to update everyone again about my Duamaxtuner ECM. I have spent a little more time driving it now so I have a better idea of how it performs. It is so much smoother and quieter than what I had it is unbelievable. I also think I have seen a slight milege improvement as well.
