Over the years I have had Edge programmers in all my Chevys since the first gen Duramax diesel.. And as usual with this product I have had to send all of them back because of problems that they have taken care of..

So now they say I have to move up but want another 600 bucks...

I got rid of my 08 hatted the fuel millage and the DPF.. I removed the DPF and ran an Edge with not much gain on MPG like 2 if I was lucky.. I know the truck had 37 inch tire but I really did not like the truck.. Yes the new body style was nice looking but.. Maybe I was just done with lifted trucks...
I picked up an 05 dually.. with 40 thosand on the clock. it has straight Exhaust and an Intake.. The Edge programmer is in a box.. Was told It was throwing a codes.. So I called Edge to get a replacement.. I do understand it is an 05 programmer in an 05 truck.. But it only has 40 thosand on it...
So Just to let everyone know STAY AWAY FROM EDGE!!!
Spend 1200 bucks and you now have a 1 year waranty.. lets see that 100 bucks a month to gain more power and fuel millage.... HMM If your lucky...
Im going EFI Live... And just staying away from the dealer..
Ya It wont have the little cool monitor Edge Gives you but I believe they spent all there time on touch screens and back up cameras and not the main system..
Just a Warning stay away...They lost my buisness for sure.

I picked up a SOLID 2 mpgs with my Edge tuner just like you.That's over a 10% improvement! My tuner has been flawless.Does everything I want it to and them some.Sorry you're having issues with yours.

What Edge tuner do you have that costs $1200? My CTS Race was $699 shipped.

I agree with OP. I had a first gen box in my LLY. Granted they were known to go out and not able to be repaired because they epoxied them solid. So I called them and they said they could replace it but it would cost $660 for the newer replacement. The bad part is...I WAS A DEALER!!!. So after going round and round with them. I dropped their line, pulled all their stuff off the shelves, walls, etc and sold the hell out of everything else.

Never again Edge. Now I just need to stop those spam emails.

Over the years I have heard about the Edge issues and I decided right away I would go with EFL Live....Way better and I can continue to change parameters without fear of crapping out my ECM or sitting on the side of the road with a dead edge....

Edge has left me and my family and many other of my friends on the side of the road in in 120 deg heat on the way to Glamis dunes.. Just happy we had the toyhauler to turn on the ac for a while with the kids..
They said they would help me out and give me a cts for cheap like 680.00 bucks. I explained that I can get it online for that.. So there really not helping me out.
They are the Worst Company out there.. STAY AWAY!!!

Crashburn... They say its out of the only 1 year waranty and they wont help me....Spend good money on it ...and it only works until warranty is up..
Edge has a great product.. They just dont stand behind it ..

I had a original Edje Juice, no Attitude monitor, on my LB7 that I bought used. One day it killed the truck on the way home. I pulled over and pulled it out and drove home. I called Edge up and they said they were aware of the problem. They had me ship it to them to get an updated one for $99. They called me up and said that the new one required the Attitude monitor to change tunes and they were sending me one. FREE! Also got a free pyro with it and dash pod. IMO that's great customer service especially since I didn't buy it new.

Run Edge products long enough and you, too will be posting like the others in this thread. There's just too many problems reported on this site with Edge products. You don't really hear of numerous complaints with other tuners like we do with the Edge products. Just my 2 cents. YMMV.

Apparently they don't read forums or if they do, they don't care. It's the same consensus across all the diesel forums. But the unknowingly still continue to buy due to their great marketing strategy.

Problem is in the fine print of there products.. The waranty is for one year... Ok so I plan on keeping my truck for more than one year... Get out your wallet for Edge .
I did remember when Edge use to send you out a new one no problem.. But as of end of 2011 they will not help you.
So If you have a juice with Attitude right now.. Keep your fingers crossed.. When it dies and I promiss it will... You will either post like I did and get out your wallet for one more year of warranty on a new product.. Or do as I am and NEVER by from them again...

Like I said, I was a dealer & they didn't even treat me well. I sold alot of the other brands. Bullydog I didn't recommend very much, if at all. I sold hundreds of hand helds but for those who wanted the change on the fly, I had to sell the banks 6 gun. I never ever had a disatisfied customer. It was just they were were pretty pricey vs the cost of a CS or CTS. But never had one come back saying something was wrong. I just wish I could afford a 6 gun.

Same thing with my brothers LLY. His Edge Juice with Attitude took a dump. Edge's response was this, "Send it into us for an upgrade...........$600.00 will get you running again".............I told my bro don't do it. Now he's getting EFI and a DSP switch.
