I'm in the process of doing the TNR upgrade in my truck. I hope to have the pieces assembled and installed in the next few weeks. When completed, I'll have a perfectly good UC6 six disc radio laying around. My wife drives our 03 K2500 Suburban. It has a single CD am/fm hu with a remote cassette player in the console. It has the "premium" sound system, but I don't think the speakers say "Bose" like in my truck. Can I install the UC6 in the Burb when I take it out of my truck? Most of the articles say 03 was when GM went to the Class II data bus, so can I safely assume that's what's in our Burb? The UC6 has non-lux programming. Thanks for any insight.

Are you sure its a 2003 'Burban? Only 2002's and older trucks had the remote tape player...if it is a 2002, then no, unfortunatly you wont be able to install it and make it work because of the lack of full Class II data bus network.
