I went up to my brother-in-laws farm this weekend and helped haul silage from the field back to the farm. It is a distance of about 5-6 miles.

I hauled about 6 loads with the dmax, another guy hauled with a dodge gasser....heh, whenever that truckwas pulling, it was chugging hard :)

My only dislike was the TC wouldnt lock in 2nd under 20 MPH, which seemed to be the best speed to pull these beasts at without too much trailer sway. (I could hit 30 unloaded without too much problems.)

I do not know the actual weight, but I am guesstimating 8 tons? I am sure any of the farmers who handle silage who are on here, will chime in if I am wrong.

Anyone else have some photos of farm equip behind the dmax?

Chuckles, yeah, its not exactly hilly over here in Ohio. There is a short 200' 5% grade on the way BACK to the field...so going down the grade though, isnt exactly fun. I usually take the down side when loaded, at about 5 MPH.
