I just got the wife a new 2011 Tahoe, i am trying to get the home link hooked up to the garage door opener it doesnt seem to be working.

I erased any codes that might be in there, followed the manual and pressed the learn button on the garage door opener then followed instructions in vehicle and I still can't get it to work anyone have any ideas? My garage door opener is probably 4 years old.

Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.
