Hi fellas,:help2:

I had the filter assembly out so I decided to change the fuel lines. I’ve bled the filter before, but never the lines. I don’t really know how to bleed the air from the line that goes to the IP.
Does the IP also need bleeding? If so, how would I bleed it?

Oh and before I put it back together, I just used standard Goodyear fuel-line. Is this okay?

Thanks ahead of time. :thankyou2

SS, bleeding the filterbase is a breeze as long as your supply pump and oil pressure switch are working.

All you need to do is crank the truck and it should start pretty easily. While its idling, just open the bleeder on the fuel filter until you get just fuel and the air bubbles stop. The injection pump will bleed on its own, and Goodyear fuel line is fine.

So what little air that might have reached the IP, I dont need to concern myself with it. It will just get forced out the injectors?
