Can someone give me a run down of the WMS-to-WMS measurements for G10/G20/G30 vans?

10 bolt
12 bolt
14 bolt

I'm converting my "heavy 1/2 ton" to 4x4 and need to replace the rear 10 bolt axle with a 6 lug (instead of 5 lug).

My front axle is Dana 44 6 lug. I understand that I can swap the rotors to 8 lug - if I can find a 8 lug 12 bolt FF for the rear....

Can I use a G30 70" WMS semi float 14 bolt from a 1 ton in a 1/2 ton frame?

The van axle diff is offset a little to the passenger side (as is the motor) to make room for the driver side controls. My understanding is that I can't use truck axles since their diffs are centered.

Thanks

this help a bit?

your rear axle is centered or off centered? couldn't assertain from your post. if centered, 10 bolt 6 lug axles will swap right in. 10 and 12 bolts are the same size diffs and interchange.

I've seen a lot of 4x4 conversions up here, and most are lifted a bit so everything clears

I swear last time I measured the pinion was off center by 2-3 inches.
But this morning I rolled under and measured again:
60" from inside of drum to inside of drum and the pinion at 30"

Maybe the offset pinion thing was only in 70s vans?
