My fogs are not working the light on the switch does not come on. I checked the fuse and it was fine. Any ideas?? I was down under the dash puting prodigy in and the tried using fogs that night and they didnt work. I dont think i did anything putting the prodigy in but I dunno. I dont remember the last time I used the fogs so it could be they havent been working for a while. Thanks for the help!!

You headlights have to be on and your headlights have to be on low beam.

No you don't need to have your lights on. You can always have your fogs on. Your orange marker lights will always come on with them though. If your left-hand lever is in the forward position (high beam) then the light will be off, and the fogs - obviously - too. Make sure it is back and see if they work.

Sorry, you are correct. The headlights don't need to be on.

could have blown both the bulbs. I think there is a relay to the foglights too. I would pull the bulbs and look to see if they look blown. If you had them on and hit any decent puddle, it could have blown them....I am having a problem finding a good bulb that lasts a long time. I have been using the "blue" bulbs and used a relay to automatically turn them on when the low beams are on. I also have the same relay for the 4 hi beam mod, so I have 6 high now (8 if you count the DRLs).

Nice, how did you do that? Also, what kind of bulbs are you using exactly. They sure don't last long. I had to replace one on the other truck and they're like 15 bucks from the dealer for a piece of junk.

If he's lights are burned out though, I think the little light in the cab would still light up though I would think. So maybe his problem is somewhere else.

Following info for a 2002, not sure if different than the 2003.

Fuse FOG LPS Fuse 15A supplies power through Fog Lamp Relay contacts, to the Fog Lamps and also Fop Lamp Indicator. Fuse and relay located in Fuse Block - Underhood.
It's unlikely you have a bad ground, because the lamps use a different ground than the lamp indicator.
The Fog Lamp Relay coil is powered from the Park Lamp Relay contacts, which is powered from PARK LPS Fuse 30A.
Both the Fog Lamp Relay and the Park Lamp Relay are controlled bu the BCM.

I just wired a relay in for the 4 hi mod. The relay had another post that tied with the low beams. I just wired the DRLs straight with the high beams. I pulled the fuse so that they wouldn't come on and turn all my lights on. (didn't use a diode, but probably will here in the near future) As for bulbs, I have been buying some of the hyper white or similar lights from Ebay. I am using the 9005s...those only cost about $13 for a set. I don't know about the dash indicator light though...I'm not sure if it would light up if both your lights don't work. I am assuming it should since mine lights up with only one working. I might have to pull the good bulb just to find out.
