A local dealer has a C4500 2004 brand new that they told me 2 months ago they would sell it for $46,500 which includes the monroe versahauler bed, air suspension and seats etc...

Now I go back to put the deal together and they say they can't lose that much $$$$$ andf that they have $50,300 in the truck and they will split the difference between the $46,500 and what they have in it...

I'm feeling like I only want that truck now for the original offer and NOTHING more...

What offers are on the 2004 C4500 GMC currently? I'm located in Ohio.

Anyone know where I can get a good deal on a GMC C4500 near me or points between here and Florida? I am willing to travel for a good deal.

Thanks for the help.

I paid $37,500 for a 2005 Kodiak C-4500 4X4 with 3 miles on the odometer. It did not have a bed though. Looks like you could save some money if you buy your own bed. Just my opinion.

I'm looking at a dealership in Michigan because it looks like I can buy a 2005 for about the same price as the 2004...

That would be including having them take it to Monroe truck and getting the items I want installed on it before I take delivery.

Any other advice you can give me?

I would like to purchase within the next week or so.

BTW, I would be hauling a wedge car trailer for my business.

Thanks again,
Wayne

Buy a Edge with Attitude, would be my advice. It contains all the guages to monitor the motor's vitals and makes towing ALOT more enjoyable. I was really disappointed in the power until I bought the Edge. You have to understand that it is a medium duty truck with a small duty truck motor. If you are pulling heavy, you will notice what I mean immediately.

Pay attention to the gear ratio that they offer. I have 5.13 and still get around 10MPG towing at the limit. Of course, the way you drive and the terrain you drive on, will make a differance.

I ordered a 5500 c/c with D/A combo, p/w, tilt, cruise, a/c, front apperance, tow hooks, cd, clearance lights, dual batterys, towing light hook up, 2dr, non 4x4, total price with freight was $33,682.00 plus only sales tax and plates for a total of $36,207.92. I went for a service body custom fabed to fit my needs that was only $6400.00 plus sales tax. My pictures where posted by somebody else back in july due to fact that I could not export the files.
