Brother in laws 1993 6.5L Turbo Diesel
After sittinjg a while it is hard to start, it will start, run 1/2 min, die, start another 1/2 min and die, then finally start and run rough for a few minutes with white blue smoke and then runs fine.
Have already changed glow plugs and glow plug controller.

Check the fuel supply pressure on the IP.

I believe he got it fixed. He had resently changed the fuel filter and did not prime afterwards. I suppose he had air in the lines? Anyways he said it's been running fine since.
