I just bought my first fuel filter for my 2004 from the local NAPA. It is completely enclosed with a sealed plastic bag. But I am confused. It says it was made by Wix. From other reading I did not think Wix made these filters. Any wisdom shared on this subject appreciated.

Many thanks for the info. The fact that it is a Racor was what I expected. Actually, this is good news, as I did not want some other brand.

I paid $28.19 for the fuel filter, 10.99 for the oil filter, and 9.09 for the trans filter. Does this compare well with other places?
