Still another question. If from a glow plug 10-15 mm are missing, where do they go??
A lot of thanks

That's a good question. Hopefully in little tiny pieces out of the exhaust system without chewing up the clyinder.
Did your swell and break off inside the clyinder during removal?

It is not uncommon to find missing pieces when removing glo-plugs. They make little dents in the tops of the pistons as they are "crunched up" and carried out the exhaust valve and into the exhaust system. As long as they are small and don't go into the piston "pointy side down" they aren't a problem. They can cause cracks and or holes in the piston if large enough and hit at just the right angle.
