I just purchased a 2003 duramax and was wondering what kind of exhaust to put on it. I have a bully dog chip and was wondering what would help it breathe better. A friend recomended straight pipes, which i think would sound nice, but i dont know if it is healthy for it. What would u guys suggest? i want it to be loud. Thanx in advance dls64chev 09-10-2005, 09:59 AM Yeah it will be loud with a straight pipe. MY 01 was extremely loud when straight piped. Almost to the point where the drone inside the cab hurt your ears. If you like loud I would suggest MBRP 4" set-up with Stock down pipe which cutts down on the drone inside the cab. I've also herd the Kennedy 4" exhaust which is also nice but way more exspensive and not quite as loud. Got my 4" MBRP down pipe back for $325 shipped. Hope this helps, good luck!!!!!!!
