I saw this yesterday too. Looks like the rear door (and seating area) is gonna be a TAD bit bigger???? Hope it's a home run.

Jeez its about time some spy shots of the next gen GM trucks/SUV's surface!!!

Its a little over 1 year until they actually release them (well, the tahoes/suburbans...the pickup trucks are a ways off)...usually we see spy shots of next gen vehicles 2 years before actual release. GM has certainly done a good job keeping them under wraps.

That being said, it looks kind of stupid with the short front doors/windows and long rear doors. Im also not a big fan of the small-ish looking A-pillars; I hope GM puts enough engineering into them to be strong (well, stronger than they look) in a rollover.

So now that Ford is about done using the ugly stick on most of their trucks and vans, GM will have a go on it's trucks, too? Swell.

Chevy already did with their current version, it's lame IMO! Where GM is really behind now is their interiors. Go sit in a F350 SLT, it's badass in there! And believe me I never thought I would say that, I hate Ford's!

The front end doesn't look any shorter, but it does look squarer. The second row looks like it has more leg room - my kids will appreciate that.

Rear doors definately look larger and a 6.5' bed!
I really liked huge back seat of the Tunda Crew Max but a 5.5' bed was a deal killer. (as was tow capacity but I definately would have looked twice with a larger bed)

Windshield looks shorter with the front metal roof line extending lower than the side windows?

Hope they ditch the GHAY plastic hood louvers.

Almost seems like the rear wheel wells are round while the fronts are square. Wish they would go with round, just has a better appearance IMO.

Last I heard, they were calling them "C3xx" during early development, but Im sure it will change to some form of the GMT-xxx nomenclature by the time the trucks hit production.
