I am being serious with this one. I know you can order and specify what you want in a truck...so here goes, can I do it? if not why?

I want: 2500 Springs, SRW 3500 axles, 4 wheel drive, with the Duramax....and the Kicker is I want it all built into a 1/2ton (SWB single cab short bed).

So basically a Heavy half ton..very heavy!

What do you think...I am serious. Can I order this truck. Sign a waver that says I wount sew them if I die...something?!?!?!

lmao imagine what this truck could do with: Nitrous, Propane, TTS, full ATS setup, Co-pilot and rear lockers...not that anyone has anything planned ;)

Why not just order a reg cab long bed 3500 SRW with the dmax/allison?
I am sure you could retrofit lighter springs after you take it home.
For a few$k you might find a custom shop that could shorten the
bed, yet keep the longbed wheelbase! Or since it is a 3500 SRW,
you might be able to get the bed delete and then get a custom one.
Could make an interesting show truck!

Build it or pay some one to build for you no point in getting any 06 when it’s going to take sometime to get any power adders for it.

one of the forumites chopped up a 2500hd reg cab/LWB and then tricked it out. I think he only spent about $40000 in mods or so.....

.........i bet he shops at walmart too....http://img3.harmony-central.com/acapella/ubb/mad.gif

You would need to do that one yourself...............

Well correct me if I'm wrong but there is no difference between a 2500HD and a 3500 SRW axle. So a 2500 HD D/A single cab long box would get you pretty close. Still have the long box but how much weight can that add vs. a short box.

The weight is in the motor and tranny.

Nice to dream though

I thought 3500's had a tougher splines and better limited slip...just built a little better then the 2500's (axles)

What is the reason that they wont do this??

Ok then can I order the above ^^^ (my dream truck) without a duramax implanted...just the truck (set up for the diesel, wires, gauges ect). Then buy a duramax to drop in??

Dammit BOYS! I wanned a yes on this one! lmao

How much more does a 2500 long bed single cab weigh?? with the power I want to add...i doubt it will matter that much.

Thanks all!

hmmm thats nothin to the duramax (400-500). I would love the to have a 1/2 ton becuase when people pull up next to you they will think that you have a 5.7....and man would they we WRONG! lol

You should request independent rear suspension and quadrasteer. :)

Yea, he'd be just as likely to get those... let's also add VSS tuning for 285s as well.

This thread reminds me of the guy on CD that bought a "one off" D/A from the dealer with an Escalade interior with the "H3 suspension technology” with twins and some other BS like that. He even put some iron on Caddy emblems on the seats.

I had to run a search to see if this guy changed, his story any and he did Here (http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12937&highlight=Escalade) is one of the original threads a good link to his CD page is on the second page of the thread.
