Can anyone tell me why the 2012 3500HD CC Denali is only available in the three basic exterior colors, black, white, and stealth gray. Why can't they produce them in steel gray metallic or mocha steel metallic or even quicksilver metallic? I really prefer the Denali trim level, but I am not interested in white, black, or the blue-gray exterior colors.

TooLoose, I am having same thoughts as you. I would really like to order my 2012 GMC in Denali but in quicksilver metallic if possible. But I don't think GM even makes it possible to factory order that way. Some one please correct me if I'm wrong. I suppose I have to go with LTZ in Chevy 3500 Dually or GMC 3500 Dually SLT with options to match what they offer in Denali. I configured them as such on their official websites and overall the final pricing came to about the same as Denali. I suppose when all is said and done, all you'll really miss out on Denali is the badge, chrome grills and fake wooden interior trims. Can some one comment on this topic?

Steel gray metallic is the best Gray color i have ever seen or owned!

I have storm gray now and while it's nice, i would trade it for steel gray in a heart beat!

you can get air conditioned seats and heated steering wheel in the SLT?

It is also my understanding that the SLT does have the option of heated/air conditioned seats, but not for the heated steering wheel.

I am not a big fan of heated steering wheels. I had it on one of my previous cars and I did not find them very useful where I live. GMC SLT does have heated and air conditioned seats as an option for 2012 which I like.

I would have to agree with you milsuper. I would love to have the heated and air conditioned seats, but they can keep the heated steering wheel.

The heated steering wheel is still a Denali only thing (as is the Bose Centerpoint surround sound system).

Im interested in knowing if theres a way to order a 2500HD Denali with the white diamond that you can get on the 1500 Denalis?

It would be nice to get the HD in white diamond!!
