I changed the oil on my truck today. I have been using amsoil for the last 40000 miles. I go to clear the oil light and it wont clear. So I run her down to the dealer. I know the head dude in the shop. he grabs the tech 2 and clears it that way. While he in there he checks the injectors, #2 is in the high 6s to low 7s. Truck has not acted any differnt. I checked the balance rates on the predator 3 weeks ago it showed # two was running at 3.75. So they are going to change it. They will also put synthetic oil back in it when they are done. So when I get back home I check it with the predator and it still shows # 2 in the high 3s. What gives?:mad:

They better be changing all 8!

Did the shop measure the balance rates with the truck in drive, brake on? If so, then 6 is a borderline value.

Was there anything else that indicates the injector is going south?

I would be reluctant to have my truck worked on given just a marginal balance rate. It it ain't broke, don't break it trying to fix it.
