I have 02' cc sb 4x4 D-max( lb7 )/Ally with mods (see below) if I set my juice to 5/5 and I only get a little puff of black smoke :(. I just installed the juice/***. on 2 different buddys trucks (LLY's) and no other mods for them and they smoke like CRAZY :eek:. Is there a problem w/ my truck??? Or do the lly's smoke that mutch more??? :help2:

What can I do to get my truck to pour out some black smoke??? ):h:D):h

LLY's seem to smoke more.

Couple different ways to get your truck to smoke more. easiest is to stuff some rags into your intake ):h, better solution would be to get a built trans and buy yourself a TTS Xtreme or other bad dog trans. Add some propane on top of that and LOOK OUT.

yep, smoke is unburned diesel do to the fact that the engine cant get enough air...I will trade you trucks! What I would give to be able to hot rod the hell out of my truck and not have the tale tale sign of it being chipped. And I have talked to a few sherrifs and they say that how they know someone is speeding or "exibition of power/speed"....So I would keep it that way....you will have more fun! lmao JMO

Sufficate (sp) the engine and you will get LOTS of smoke...and poor performace.

Thats a joke, I definatly wouldnt recomend stuffing rags into your intake but it would make it smoke more if it didnt kill the truck or other such bad stuff.

The best way to get more smoke is by adding lots more power

Since he has an LB7, can't he just mess with the boost and smoke like a freight train?:grd:

he could add a big head and crank the boost down and make less power and higher egts......

my buddy has a 03 lb7 with the same set-up as mine... Diablosport Programmer, cold air intake, and 4" Exhaust, and his smokes a ton compared to mine... the only difference is he has a newer edition of programing... his is 1.11, and mine is 1.04 on the diablo... Would that make a difference? That and his really goes compared to mine.

mine is an 02.

My Edge on 5/5 does not smoke unless I really punch it and even then the smoke only comes on in a short burst then subsides. If smoke is unburned fuel - then I am glad my truck doesn't smoke since I pay enough for the fuel I want it used to add power rather than expelling it in a black cloud.
