I know some people have posted the same thing saying their D Max doesn't smoke in level 5 on the Edge. Mine barely did, that was really getting on it. Over my weekend vacation I watched them Dodges cruising around blowing black smoke that filled the air. I just wanna do that too! :bounce: What gives? ratlover 09-08-2005, 03:17 PM LB7's dont seem to smoke hard in relation to thier power compared to the dodges. an allison also makes it hard, you have to figure out how to drive it to get the most smoke....I've got an LB7 that smokes alright if your ever in the area ;) dmaxalliTech 09-08-2005, 05:38 PM you could also be slipping through the trans, and not loading the engine down enough cause the power goes right on through the trans... Ben bigblackdmax 10-04-2005, 07:45 PM Another reason that I have heard is that our turbos are pushing more air and burning more fuel that what a dodge turbo does. Smoke is just fuel that didn't completely burn. brett6.6 10-04-2005, 08:01 PM well i had a hot juice and predator stack and the hj by itself would smoke like crazy escpecially ona no boost take off, well i got me a quad and a cold juice and i ran the cold juice by itself and could barely get it to smoke from a no boost take off, very little compared to my hot but pthers have said that there regular juice will blow some smoke, but i guess all trucks and modules are different. my cold juice and quad does not smoke near as bad as my hj AND PREDATOR BUT MY QUAD AND CJ WILL RUN A 12.9@103 WHERE AS MY PREDATOR AND HJ WILL ONLY RUN 13.49@98 SO SMOKE CAN BE A GOOD THING AND A BAD IFF YOUR GETTING TO MUCH | ||
