Has anyone installed a trans cooler on the Allison? If so, what cooler and how did you mount? Did you put a seperate fan on it if not up front? Pictures? Can anyone think of potential problems?

It comes with a big HD factory tranny cooler are you thinking about a different cooler? You will find the big factory cooler behind the grill in the airlow in front of the Radiator. If you change it out you will need one with the big fittings to handle the plumbing size . If you choke it down, you will be getting less flow. Factory cooler seems to be OK.


Some in high heat areas like Arizona in the summer have indicated they need more air flow ovewr the cooler.
