Simple question. Does operation of the Attitude require an EGT connection?

Already have pillar gauges and would rather keep them. Not going to do pre/post turbo EGT either! I'm aware that it won't back down if the preset EGT value is reached, etc. Any other drawbacks to not having it connected?

Thanks.

No, not at all. I ran mine without for a few weeks.

No !

I have the X-monitor and my attitude probe is not connected.

Thanks,

That's what I figured. I just wanted to make sure that the EGT monitoring/back-down function was the only thing that would be effected.

Now I just need to find a good price......

Would someone care to explain how this can be accomplished? I have Isspro gauges and would like to run the Attitude alongside w/EGT's. The pyro has a plug end on the wires coming from it.

Thanks

INSTALLED JUICE PYRO PROB, AT THE OTHER END OF THE WIRE WAS 2 SCREWS TO CONNECT TO THE EDGE BOX, I TOOK THOSE SCREWS CONNECTED THEM TOGETHER WITH THE SPLICED WIRES FROM THE AUTOMTER PYRO GUAGE WIRE AND THEN SCREWED THEM IN THE EDGE.........EVERYTHING READS PERFECT.....TOOK 10 MINUTES

But is it the correct temperature reading? The only way to know would be to run the vehicle in steady state temperature condition and then connect and disconnect one of the gauges to see if the temperature changes.

THERE IS A 25 DEGREE DIFFERANCE...THATS ON THE AUTOMETER....THE JUICE SHOULD BE OK BECAUSE ITS HOOKED UP LIKE IT SHOULD BE WITH NO EXTRA LENGTH ADDED TO THE PYRO PROB ... THE ONLY ONE THAT I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT WAS THE AUTOMETER GUAGE AND ITS JUST 25F OFF SO NO BIGGIE....
