I have an Edge Juice/Attitude on my LLY now, but am thinking of moving up to the PPE Xcelerator after reading many good reviews here. My question is that with the PPE Stage I tranny kit, will I be able to run the Xcelerator (not the Hot) on stage 3 without having to worry about tearing up my Ally? I am on an extremely tight budget right now and the Edge just isn't everything I thought it was gonna be (read SLOW OFF THE LINE!) and I like the fact of having a programmer more than a module since it is easier to remove. Also, I can get it on ebay for about 550, 200 less than I paid for tthe Edge installed. What's the Edge worth?
Can if it's not the hot one, for a while. Better keep the Edge. The gauges are a must, not to mention the added defuel for shifts...T

Not the Hot, and I plan on installing gauges if I do the switch. PPE's website says that the Xcelerator does defuel the shifts?

You will be OK with the regular Xcelerator as long as you dont flog it. Shifts with the Xcelerator will be much quicker than the J/A. You will also feel a much needed improvement off the line.

That's what I figured. I think I may be able to get the stage II kit afterall, then it should be no problem running around on the max whenever correct? Is it possible to stack the PPE with the Edge, or are they not compatible? Or, can I still use the Attitude for the guage package?

They are compatible and actually run very well. Run the Xcelerator on kill and the J/a on levels 1-3 with low boost fueling turned down. Expect to see 1093's though.

1093 is a tranny code correct? Will I not have to worry about that with the stage II kit?

P1093 is a fuel supply problem. To run tunes over 400rwhp, you will need to address it. Do a search on Shim Mod in the LLY forum. Currently it is the only available fix.
