Since the Oilguard thread is locked I have to ask. After installing the Oilguard how much additional oil is required? I haven't received the unit yet so don't even know the size of the filter.

Is there anything wrong with the Oilguard full-flow filters? I ordered 3 of them, 3 bypass elements and 3 fuel filters (Nicktane is inline BTW).

I have a heckuva time checking oil level on the Dmax. Checking cold it's waaaay up on the dipstick, like 6 inches above Full.

That sounds like a bit over full. How much oil did you put in?

Yeah, way over full. The dealer did it on the comp 1st oil change. I changed it yesterday with 10qt. and it's exactly at the FULL mark. Sheesh.

I think it was about 1 1/2 extra quarts when i put my eps-20 (the middle sized one) oilgaurd on.
