I found a good deal on Ebay for a 6 disc cd changer by USA SPEC.
I bought it for $2.25 + 12.00 shipping. It didn't come with the cable, so that cost me about $40.00.
So basically I got it for around $55.00, I don't think I could get any thing cheaper unless it got given to me.
If ya'll are looking for one on ebay the model # is SCD-G190 or
SCD-G190V4 if it doesn't come with a cable PM me and I can help you out there. I have found a place that has them.
IIRC this is only for the pre-'02 it says on the description at crutchfield 97-up but I would double check to make sure..

Well I am a gamblin' man so If I was out $14.00 then so be it....
There for a while it was quetionable, the CD changer magazine was jamming up the loading device, so I had to do a little "surgery" on it....;)
It almost made it to target practice before I finally got it figured out.:D
Oh yeah and the install was done in a motel parking lot......

There's some poor sap filing a claim w/ his insurance for 1- Stolen 6-disc CD changer unit as you were installing yours in the no-tell-motel!:joke:

How is the quality and loudness of the songs in comparison with your radio? Does it work through your FM radio? I posted a thread here, my CD changer seems to have very low volume and the quality of sound is not that great either.

It plugs directly into the radio with the supplied cable, so it isn't FM modulated.
It sounds great, no difference between the stock single CD player and the 6 disc player.
If you go to crutchfield.com and search that model number, you will have all the information on the changer that there is to have.
I would check since you have a 2005, this changer probably wont work...
