Also I have never EVER had or seen a truck that is this comfortable.you are correct jt. i have never been in a truck as comfortable as mine. my dad has a f-series super duty with a powerjoke and the damn thing is so rough it is like riding on a sheet of plywood. imagine all the work they go thru to put that machine together and your ride is like $hit anyways.
DIYORPAY 09-08-2005, 07:06 AM I've got 252,340 on the ticker. Only minor replacement stuff like OPS, lift pump, glow plugs,PMD,and a new torque converter. I've owned the truck for about 3 1/2 years and just love it! Hoping for 350,000.

Dam ...you guys are making me jealous. 295,000k and " bam " blew heads .sure it would be still going strong if i never put gas in it.......
countrycoach 09-08-2005, 11:46 AM :badidea: ouch yea that will shorten the life of even the best diesel!
so i found out.. havent had to do anything to it, since i bought it 4 yrs ago..just maintain the oil level and change it once in awhile.. new tires muffler, shocks and brakes.. the norm.. needs new ball joints and ty rods in the front end cause the tires tow in, a little hard on the front tires,, but other then that, was running like a gem. Ill have it running soon i hope.. diesel here is 1.01 a liltre not sure what that is in usd.. still way cheaper then gas....
countrycoach 09-08-2005, 12:28 PM Well thats good, I hope it keeps treating you well, its nice to have a lady in a 6.5L that knows what she is talking about and how to change oil and stuff! Most ladies don't even know that you have to change the oil! lol
ha ha , you ll find me to be the first under the hood.. most men shake there head.. if i had the proper tools id be right in there fixen the motor too..id be faster then some of these dum a$$ loser mechanics.. I dont know alot about diesels but learning all the time.this forum is great for information, the guys are super helpful,i am getting to know where all the parts are anyhow. worked in a parts store that helped too, being pretty independent (some say stubborn) also helped, my daddy wished i was a boy.. taught me alot....small hands are helpful for those hard to reach areas..:p: not afraid to get greasy.. it comes off..eventually..that orange stuff is great grease remover..currently I own a fabric store..lol..seamstress.. jenn of all trades...under the hood in a skirt..
