g'day guys
i have a 1989 toyota dyna with a 11b 4 cylinder diesel motor the problem that im having is that once its been running for about a minute it has no power and wont rev past 2000rpm and after reving it wont idle until its at operating temp it starts no worrys and drives but wont go past 50kph, ive had the tappet clearence done, ive put an electric fuel pump on it and changed all filters but just cant seem to find out whats wrong with it, could anyone help me out please p.s. as soon as it starts up it will rev full throtel

may want to check the injection pump make sure that the fuel control shaft isnt sticking and that the return spring is on and operable, maybe also want to check the timing chain or belt, i dont recall what the 11b has. also check the throttle pedal to see if it is sticking or the spring is missing.

Does that one have a catalytic converter?
