Well the end of my oil dipstick finally fell off. It had been a little loose and I should have fixed a long time ago. I wonder if the new ones are any better ?

I just went to order one and they said it is a direct order part and looking at 10 days to get it here.

Looks just like the org. I lost the tip over 100k ago and had to special order one from Pontiac Mi. supply, took 3 days. Think it was $42.00 or so.

Most Duramax van parts are not stocked by dealers so you have to wait for parts to come from Michigan. I did not even ask how much just told them to order it.

That sucks they did not improve it.
