Hey all,

After having the MT-2500 over the weekend, I discovered that my tach reads about 220 RPM high. Does anyone know where/how to get the correct alternator pulley so I can get it reading correctly. Funny, I always thought 2500 RPM at 70 was high for a 3.73 geared truck.

Is 220 rpm worth the effort? Mines out about 200 also compared to the scanner and i can't be bothered with it as i know the alternator will need a change sometime in the future and probably won't read right then either.

Good Point CR,

I just thought if I could get the correct pulley, I would change it. But first.. I would have to CHROME it so that it was unmistakeable. :D

Mine is off 10% all the way up(1,100=1,000 actual, 2,200=2,000actual). Has been that way since I installed the cs-144 alternator that I got from auto zone. But 10% is no big deal, and I don't want to do anything to lose 90amps at idle.
