It just never seems to end does it. Which sensor on the tranny does this code point to? And what would cause it? Code wasn't in the FAQ's.

I was just cruising along when the cruise kicked out on me then it started hard shifting, cruise is working again and the shifting seems OK after clearing the code.

that code refers to the manifold pressure switch located on the botom of the valve body in the pan flat switch with a red conector held on with 6 bolts. does your scan software show trans functions manuel shifter position there is 3 switches that show open or closed depending on position a b c park=off on off reverse=on on off neutral=off on off d4=off on on d3=off off on d2=off off off d1=on off off illegal=on off on and on on on

sounds complicated, scanner software shows many options and parameters for the tranny. I'll have to look later and see what i can come up with.

Yes i believe so. It shows about 50 parameters, also has some shift commands that i can turn on/off, TCC commands, etc, its not in front of me now but should be able to accomplish what you suggest.

i do not see the parameters that i would like in those screen shots it shows curent gear but does not show the actual shifter position there should also be 3 switches marked abc and change as stated above depending on shifter position simple to check on mt2500 have you cleared it and had it come back?

I will have to check that out tomorrow at work. I cleared the code, hasn't come back, shifting is normal again and the cruise is working fine so far.

could have just been a quirk ?
