I was looking into those and wonder if anyone else runs them. my friend had them on a avalanche and seemed to work nicely. I was looking at getting 265/75-16

I can't complain about them, wish mileage was alittle better.
I bought mine from here http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireProductCategoryDetailBrnd.do?tpc=NITVA1&tp=Truck%2FSUV

They're still offering free shipping

Why are they the worst set of tires? When you guys talk about milage are you talking about longevity

They are a bit soft alright. That will be the trade off with most tires that offer the traction that they do, and run on our heavy high horsepower trucks. I am on my second set because even though they don't last too long the performance and traction are real good. You can find tires that will last longer, but you will sacrifice traction. Depends on what your priorities are...I choose safety and performance.

ive had lots of trucks and switch tire out A LOT! to say the least. i just dont think i got my moneys worth out of them. the road noise on them is not bad at all, as long as you keep them rotated right. they were a little too soft for me. when i first saw them everyone was buying them up, did some searching in the begining and everyone said they were holding up real well. they must have changed the compound between the begainning and when i bought the set i did. everyone has mixed reviews about the tires, some love and some hate. just do your reaserch before you buy. MT/R's were the best tires i have ever had. had them on 3 of my trucks and got alot of milage from them.

i have the 295/75/16's and love them.they are quiet.and drive great.balanced well.very high load ratings for the size.really thick sidewalls. they do so well in the sand its unbelievable.they all out trump bfg at's in the sand. 3,800 miles on them and they still look new. yes i know they are still new but i know at this point im going to get more than 15k out of them.i think snuffy is right about the compound change when they first came out i think they were too soft and they hardened up the compund a little.the only bad thing i can say about them is they are heavier by 5-10 pounds than other tires such as the bfg at,michelin ltx, etc.

interesting......I am going to be plowing in the winter so i am looking for a all around good grip tire...something that grabs on the road wet or dry and will track well in the mud. The only reason i am looking at these because i have driven a vechile with them and liked them.

I saw them at one place for $111 a tire. any one have pictures with 265/75-16 tires on there truck....it does not matter what tires i just want to see how big they look

does it screw with the MPH at all

I've got a set of 265/75/16 on my CC. Even as worn out as they are(mileage unknown) they had good grip in our pennsylvania winter last year. fairly quiet, nice drivability, look very good. With all that said, I will by another set SOON! I do mostly local driving with light to moderate loads some occasional light towing. If I were pounding out highway miles daily then I'd opt for something else but these are a great value in a very good all-round tire ):h my $0.02

Like mine so far I have 285/75/16. Deep tread and hold wet road very well.

My Nitto 265's ride great only they are way past being worn out. Am still waiting for the BFG 265 E's to come out. I might hafta go to the Michelins if they take much longer to come out. I have about 25K miles on them and would have changed them 5K if the BFG's were available.

If only the Nitto's would last past 20-25K miles. I won't buy another set cause it ain't worth it.

If you want mileage go for the Toyo open countrys, I'll never advise any body to buy BFG A/Ts unless you want a offroad look for all street driving.
If BFG would change their tread design maybe they would be better. Their present design sucks to the absolute most on anything off a paved road.

I have 22K on mine and they look like they will make 35K easy, maybe 40k.
