I've got a 2007.5 LMM that i have slowly been adding things to. Most items to this point have been cosmetic but its time to change that.

Currently the power parts i have are an Edge CTS tuner set to level 5. 5" exhaust, egr blocker plate, and an AirGog 200GPH pump.

Some things i would like to do soon (based on $$);re, built trans, twin turbo (hoping to use the stock unit as the smaller of the two-o want as little turbo lag as possible), head studs, larger injectors, air intake.

what do you think i should do next? What brand/model would you recommend (or not recommend)

just thought I would ask the people that know the best.

Thanks for all the help.

I would build the transmission and switch to EFI Live. This will keep you happy for a little while. That set-up with supporting mods consistantly dyno's in the low to mid 500's.

I knew that would be coming up soon. Was hoping to wait as its always better to add power than not to.

I have a deep trans pan and Amsoil fluid in right now. I check the pan every few months and everything looks great so far.

What brand and stage would you recommend? I do tow up to 15K lbs and drive it hard. My goal as a daily driver is 800hp at the wheels.

Thanks
Josh

Suncoast GMAX6 and Precision converter, this will hold your 800 hp goal if built right. You would want to pick your converter based off what turbo you want and how you use the truck.

thats part of the problem im not sure of what turbo to go with. As far as i knlw there aren't any good places in my area to talk to so i get all my info and parts from people here.

i was thinking of keeping the stock turbo as the small and using something like a Fleece Cheetah as the large. not sure if this would work or if its even recommended.

For twins the most popular set-up is a stock/S475. If you want to run a single we have had great success with the Garrett 4094 vvt. Check out the links below for more info on both.

If your spending money on a turbo go with twins! You can grow into twins! You'll eventually outgrow that 4094 and then you'll be selling it to go bigger or put twins on. Plus the driveability is so much better with twins versus a big single. My dually which has an s478 on it will manage my bass boat but not much more, and I have to stay in 5th gear to keep in the charger. Just my .02! Good luck which ever way you go. You'll have a blast getting that thing sideways at 40mph!

Built trans is next for sure. You will have more than enough power to need this with just the parts you have mentioned. Also you may want to do a PCV re-route, and block or delete the EGR.

I may have had a typo. I do not want to go with a large turbo but rather go with twins. I was hoping to keep the stock turbo as the smaller twin just to save some cost. Just not sure how realistic that is.

PCV re-route is in progress actually. and the egr is blocked.

I agree the trans needs to be done. just deciding what brand to go with and ive gottten some good advice to reaserach into.

Where are you located? There might be a reputable builder near you. Off topic, but that Camaro in your sig must be a joy to drive.

I'm in Waterloo Ontario (about an hour east of Toronto)

yeah its is a blast and a real head turner. just put a ram air hood on it and it really sets it apart.

If you want to reuse your stock charger then check out mpi, they make a killer twin kit that utilizes the stock garrett. They are in the vendor section here on dp.
