Just bought my first 6.2L shortblock, a 660 cast, but it has one piston that is beat up on the crown. Anyone out there have a single 6.2 piston in std. bore they'd like to part with??

GM used different Grades of pistons when assembling the engines, The sizes are stamped on the pan rail below, it will be like a big "C" or a "D" that will be the size of the piston. I have a set of 6.2 pistons I took out of my 86 truck, not cracked or anything, but the bores were starting to get sloppy and I tore the engine down for other reasons. They have 150k miles on them. But... I don't know which piston came out of what hole anymore. I had a mix of C and D's. patracy 09-04-2005, 08:57 PM How about an entire engine? New marine 18:1 pistons.
