I'm thinking about dropping 15k into my lly for some big power and ability to hold it. I need suggestions and advice.

Moved to other performance discussion.
How much power are you looking to make, and what's the purpose of the truck going to be?

I would spend about $4k of that on a transmission rebuild. Then look into some other items such as gauges, EFI Live and a fuel system to start. That will set you back about $6K +- some. This set-up will get you 500+. Then if you want to do a turbo and injector upgrade you could be above 600.

to the OP, is your truck a automatic or manual? are you going to use it just for pulling or are you wanting to take it out on the streets? if u want "big" power im pretty sure your 15k can get you there, but...the stock internals wont beable to hold it for a long time with hooking it to a sled. on a side note: theres alot more to hooking to a sled than just having big HP numbers. your not only going to have to drop money into the engine/tranny, your going to have a weight bar, traction bars, good set of tires, etc etc etc and that can add up quick.

I would be tempted to do your own research first and then ask the questions. Seems like your asking more for a shopping list .

But as tyler says. Tranny is top of list then efilive and improvements to fuel system. force feed the CP3 with an airdog and probably a slightly improved CP3 to keep the fuel rails full of pressure.
