Can you use it just for gauges or will it automatically down load a tune and screw the pooch?:D

Not sure how it works but get an edge insight. There are a few minor software bugs they are working out now.. Lots of things to monitor on the edge.

From what I understand the insight has more parameters to monitor. Some one with one would be more versed to chime in. I know on another thread some one used the H S to load the tune then used the insight to monitor

You can use it as gauges. Just select your truck in the menu and it should show the data with no tune.

As 8100 said, you can use it just for gauges. If I were planning to keep the emmisions garbage in place, I would go for the Insight. It has a lot more PID's than the H&S. BUt, If I had any notion that I might do a dpf delete, I would go with H&S.
