I have searched and found only one photo with Onki's and no pics of a factory running board (non tube type) on a 2500HD Crew cab. Anyone have any pics of a factory style running board like the tahoes/suburbans/yukons on a 2500HD. If no photos does anyone have any input into likes/dislikes about factory or onki running boards.

TIA

I don't know...it's not my truck. I've been foaming at the mouth for it for awhile though. :)

There are no "factory" running boards for a 2500HD. You can not get any from the factory on the trucks.

I got a part number for them from chevy and a price too. I would guess they would be the same as on a surburban. I guess if they dont exsist it would explain why I havent seen any factory ones on a 2500? Thanx

Here is a pict of the Onki's. What I like is they are rubber coated and have lights on top and bottom. Have had for almost 3 years now with no problems.

They may be available through GM aftermarket or something. I am just pretty certain they don't put them on from the factory. Be careful because the running boards from a suburban will not look right on a crew cab pickup, even though they might bolt up. The rear of the running board is molded to fit the back of the suburban and it hangs past the shorter crewcab body.

I have an 02 extracab, not crewcab, and the Tahoe factory running boards work great. I think the suburban or tahoe xl boards would work on the crewcab. FYI, GM changed design on the boards in 03 I believe, in the mounting points, so you have to use 02 or older board to retrofit to the truck. Check Ebay, I got a brand new set for 60 bucks.

I'll try to get a picture if interested.
