I just want to lead off as many have done before me.... this is one great site.:ro)
Recently I had my original altenator die, the parts store tested it and it was putting out no volts but everything else checked out ok. My question is, the altenator I pulled was a 100 amp and that matched the code on my glove box, but the parts store sold me(aka recommended) 105 amp re-built altenator will this cause any issues down the road or should I take it back and get the 100amp altenator??? I do haul a 5000lb fifth wheel in the summer so maybe going to the higher amp altenator would be a good idea.
