I got the Insight installed last night and she works great!! EXCEPT...

My instant is way too low.... I am reading like 10 to 12 instant cruising??

ALSO THE BIG KICKER...

My DEF IS Reading 100%. I have 3870 miles on the truck. There is no way it is at 100% HOWEVER the DEF range PID says like 1165 miles left.. which would be close to being about right..

how can the range be right and the gauge be way off??

I have not added any DEF since purchase..

No idea on the PID for DEF percentage but defiantly contact Edge and let them know of the issue so it can looked into and fixed.

Milkman I am hAving same problem with inst mpg 10-12 cruising. Read the other thread bout version 3 available

yeah I am going to call them Monday.

I def think it is on the Edge side of things since the mileage appears to be right.

Let me know what they have to say I know we arent getting 1O mpg cruising at 55

My instant is reading 16+. The Def hovers around 65+ with 1292 range. I think the Def could a little more accurate with mine.

Checked mine it says urea range 1292, not possible I jus filled it up, also my fuel temp was 160f and that seems unbelievably high to me when I jus started truck

Mine is hunk of crap at this point.

My regen indicator is showing off when i know it's in regen this am.
The instant mileage is way off and the urea percentage level is way off.

I AM NOT HAPPY.

O shit. Mine has gone back into regen so I don't know if that part works let me know what they say when u talk to them and I will do the same

I noticed that my instant mpg seemed off too, my urea is also reading 100%. On a side note, I took my truck into the dealer for an oil leak this monring and was informed that I had a recall for the def. I haven't had a problem with it yet, maybe the edge will read correctly after the reflash from gm.

Let us know if it reads correctly after reflash, I have not ha the reflash yet and my gauges are all over the map

Everyone needs to start calling Edge.

I Placed the call today and they have my serial number and are checking for bugs... they have not called back yet.

Talk to EXTENSION 115 and leave a message.

**UPDATE**

Edge just called me back, I think the guys name is Allan, he is at ext 115.

He advised me that a software bug HAS been located and they are working on it. He advised he will call me when they have a fix. It may take up to a few weeks he said.

I will keep everyone posted.

He said there will be an update to download. I am thinking I may end up being a beta tester. He said I was the first to call.

Just got my truck back tonight and no surprise, it shows the same 100%.

Friday morning I fired up truck- CTS started and went black. When touched screen it would light for a second and go black. Talked with two different Caseys and scanned my CTS, downloaded two different earlier versions before it would stay on. Right now it shows nothing I can really use but it is staying on. As Milkman stated they know there is a bug and could be week or more before they get it.

Edge called a few moments ago. No update yet. They are working on an LML and have duplicated the problem with the urea. I advised him I too had the recall done. He is unsure if there is a connection but he will let the engineers know. He will call me with updates. As I know more, the rest of you will too!

Thanks they still never called me back

Finally updated my CTS last night. My urea level reads 100%, but I did just fill it up 300 miles ago. My mpg indicates 16mpg, which doesn't sound too far off, but I do wish it was off by 3 or 4 mpgs at least :D (wishful thinking)

Either way, I'm sure Edge will fix this soon but for the meanwhile I am a happy camper. This thing can monitor everything besides my testosterone level!

Installed my insight a few days ago after having the recall/reflash done and my def percentage is reading 100% (not sure if dealer topped off tank or not) but only like 1300 miles left on the range, doesnt seem right to me. Every thing else seems ok.

Got my Insight last week urea level was at 100% Urea range at 950miles. Today about a 800 miles later urea level still at 100% range at 1072 miles. I filled the urea about 2000 miles ago.

Good news I spoke with a guy from edge yesterday and he said they are in process of Fixng the problem

That's good to hear Willsdiesel- They said it would probably be about two weeks- Fri will be two weeks for me- Even though it only worked for a week and half I sure hate not be able to monitor anything.....

They said they will call me when there is a fix. They have my unit serial number on file in the computer with a note to call me the guy said.

I have a feeling I will be the first they call...I was the first, according to them, to call them. They had me upload my data to their computer. They said they will call me and have me hook up while I am on the phone then go test...

I will update if they do this for me. The communicated back and forth for a few days with me...
