there seems to be so many methods and options and different ways to do this.
how did you get started?
did you take a class or read a book or just Google?
I'm so over whelmed by the options.

Check the net for forums to learn and ask questions at.A few you should shy away from,biodieselnow.com,not too much info and very few new post.Journey to forever, lotta inaccurate info. The best I have found is this one http://biodiesel.infopop.cc Very good people with a lot of very accurate info.

I got the "book" by Girl Mark, read, read biodiesel.infopop site and went for it.
It is overwhelming if you don't take it in steps. Processor. Titrate. Brew

Try this site go down about half way and click on access the manual. It has a lot of reading in it,over 200 pages but it has good pics and instructions. It also has a lot of material related to Arizona only but the bio material is excellent. http://biod101.com/

Her book is a good read and very easy to understand, but it leaves a lot of holes. The version I read, which was several versions old didn't go over titration very well. It was pretty fragmented.
http://www.make-biodiesel.org/ is a decent site but they're over the top with paranoia in methanol handling.
There's a Yahoo group called "1earth" that's run by Rick Bouvier whom I met on another yahoo group that's now defunct. Rick and the crew on 1earth are very knowledgeable and love to share information.
http://utahbiodieselsupply.com/ has some good tech info, but a LOT of what they sell is grossly overpriced.
http://www.dudadiesel.com/ has good information as well and some decent prices on filters and other stuff.
There's 3 key ingredients you'll need with making biodiesel: The WVO itself, the most precious commodity, methanol, and potassium hydroxide (KOH).
Attached is a how to and a excel spreadsheet I put together with the help of Rick Bouvier for my small 16 gallon tank in which I do 10 gallon batches in about 3 days.
