I have Build date of 9/7 and live in upstate NY, whats the odds I can miss the 9/30 delivery date. I also am assuming it will come with a LLY.

Sounds like you have a good shot at making the 9-30 delivery date, and yes you will probably get an LLY. It the truck is still enroute or not ready to deliver, ask the dealership to process your paperwork on the 30th. They would probably want to make the sale count toward their September target.

Anyone know how I can get a build day or a sales order number if my dealer has no clue? I placed an order about 3 or 4 weeks ago and they still don't have a sales order number or anything.. I think something is fishy about that or am I wrong?

EXPSD--if your truck has a build date of 9/07, then the dealer should have no problem getting a vin before 9/30. any vehicle can be reported if there is a vin, even if it hasn't hit the lot yet. and if that was when it was built, it will have the LLY. All the GM messages at stealerships are telling the inventory managers that the LBZ will not be available until after 9/12 and sold orders for it will not be accepted until after 9/15. probably so it won't qualify for the 9/30/05 GMS pricing end--would have to have a vin
SnowBandit---ask your salesperson what your order number is. If they tell you they don't have one, then they haven't ordered it yet. When an order is placed in to the preliminary order bank, it is assigned an order number--REGARDLESS if it has been picked up by GM yet or not. So, take it from me, if they can't give you an order number, they haven't ordered it yet.
Also--I stated that they were not accepting sold orders for the LBZ until after Sept
15th----any orders in the order bank will automatically be changed to the LBZ engine.
In their slight defense, if you requested the LBZ, that may be why they haven't ordered it yet, because the code is not available yet. But don't make it easy on them, ask them what's up?

I don't want the LBZ.. I want Employee pricing and the LLY.... I am going to give them a call and talk to the sales manager tomorrow before I leave town for the day...

Well I got a build week of 9/19... Do I get a LLY or am I stuck with LBZ? Will it make it to NH by 9/30?

Most build to ship to delivery are 10 days........

Send a PM to howardm18.........if anyone can get it expedited he can........and he can get you a GM supplier price if the employee price runs out, however I think GM will extend it.........again..........

EXPSD, if you have a S.O.N. send it to me at = howard_m18@yahoo.com.That way you will get the vin. # as fast as possible & you can do all the paperwork before the "BABY" gets home. That way you can beat the deadline!!
SNOWBANDIT, It sounds like a snow job to me. HE! HE! They have a S.O.N. OR V=vehicle Order # one way or another. All trucks get a # & then they are fit into the building system by the men downtown. They /you get a T.P.W. based on a #. It is a # that has 6 letters in it. Canadian orders are 6$'s to them.As soon as you get the S.O.N. let me know so that we can track your "BABY" home!! Howard, here to help!!
