dodge trucks suck

Hopefully this isnt a stupid question but This is a new truck to me and I have never had one that the oil pressure gaugefluctuated so much. While driving at higher rpms it reads around 60 but at idle, it goes to about 25,just above the redline.Oil level looks good . The dealership just did an oil change before I took it.
Also I am a pretty good mathmatician but does anyone know an easy solution to hand calculating due to oversize tires. I have 35" BFGs which throw off the Odometer so I really cant do the distance/gallons.... problably gonna have to buy a programmer that will give me more pep and recalibrate the speed due to tires. Thanks.

yup i would get your self the predator it can do everything you need to for tires and speed limiters plus the extra power is nice.
oh yea the oil pressure is normal

haha when cold mine will show about 100 PSI...........at idle!!! It was closer to normal but then they had to replace my cluster due to a burnt out light, and my oil pressure has been wacked ever since

mine is the same.. right above red when warmed up.. around 60 at WOT.. when cold start, it stays around 90 at WOT and 65 at idle.

Toyotas are like that. Great pressure running, but hit the offramp on a hot day and pressure drops to zilch. Toyota's answer was "The gauge doesn't start at zero, so when you're at the bottom it's really 15 or 20 and okay).
I won't argue with them given my experiences with my Toyotas.
For calculating mileage, you need to find the percentage difference between your stockers and what you have. For instance, I have 285, which are 7.8% bigger in circumference than the stock 245's. Just take hand-calc'd MPG and multiply by 1.078... consider it an extended warranty :D

I was going to add that for 35's, 10% off ball park is a good figure, but it looks like that is high. I have the predator, so I would add some horses, set the speed limiter to 120, and adjust for the tires. The oil pressure thing is normal! Good luck with your beast!
