I'm gearing up to buy an exhaust system finally. I know that many have complained about the quality of the clamps MBRP provides.
Can anyone point me in the direction of some quality clamps? I've got an impact wrench to torque them correctly, so that shouldn't be a problem.
Second, how hard is it to install the duals system? I haven't done much with exhaust, but I'm fairly capable. Would this be best left to an exhaust shop though?
Finally, could somebody help me find the link of the MBRP duals review that was posted a while back? I've searched and can't find it anywhere...

What's up with the two different size opening on that clamp?

they come in all sizes..its a reducer and fits the pipes snug that slip into one another. I used the original clamps and I had leaks until I switched to these.

Thanks for the link...these look great and aren't too bad price wise.
Could you give me a parts list for what I'll need for a dual MBRP system?

Copy....so the Jugs 4inch is the one we should use with our BANKS/MBRP systems. 555-30735 / 4'' Preformed Exhaust Band Clamp

Napa carries the stainless steel bandclamps also. They start off smooth (one size) and conform/stretch to fit the pipes. Impact wrench snugs them up good and tight!

I would suggest the non preformed units and the ones with the flat steel captured rather than the aluminum chocks. They will tighten up much better.

Are those the JEGS clamps?
Yes, and they have worked fine for the past year and 28K miles.............
The ones that are not pre-formed will work as well.............any business that sells big rig stuff may have them...........make sure they are 409 or 304 stainless............
.
.
They are not too expensive either.............IIRC

Ditto, No leaks at all and the clamps are cheaper than Jeggs.
