Are you going to do a dpf delete? I would get a full exhaust kit, PCV reroute, get your tuning figured out, and go with a built transmission and better torque converter. The transmission would be the most important if you want to make big power. You may also want to install an egr blocker plate or delete, but it is a lot of work. Don't forget gauges if you crank up the power.

Moved to other performance discussion.
Tell us what the truck will be used for, like sled pulling, drag racing, towing, daily driving, things like that.

If you want to push any decent power you will NEED a tranny asap. Dpf will be needed also imo.

Really depends what you want to do with the truck, after you spend the 5g's.
That will barley get you started.

the 5g's should cover your trans and converter but thats as far as your gonna get. there is only one downside to diesel performance and that is cost. it takes money to make big power. there are some guys on here that have over 50k in there trucks... good luck

Since you already have EFI Live, a trans, exhaust and tie rod sleeves should get you started. Lift pump would be another item if you can go over budget a bit. Have fun.

5G's? Where's the rest? Do you want it to look good or go fast cause you won't even do one or the other with 5G's

It really depends on what you want to do with the truck. If you want to push some decent power build your tranny, get rid of the dpf, and get a fuel system to started with. You can do little things such as shim your fuel rail and get a ported fuel rail fitting. The more you can do your self the more money you can save and the more parts you can buy. Keep an eye out for parts on here, you can save a lot of money from buying parts on here sometimes.
