As the title says, should I get a Predator or Juice?

I'm trying to decide which I should try to save for. I like the features of the edge such as "shift on the fly" power levels, status readouts, EGT backdown, and trans protection.

The good about the predator is that I've heard it has better low end power, can read balace rates and such, the update (when it's released) will do something with the EGR codes (I assume it will allow us to block the EGR w/o a finger stick?), remove/change speed limiter. The thing I don't like about the Predator is the programming time, and need to pull a few fuses to program. I have to do that to tune my car and it's a bit of a PITA.

I'm kinda leaning towards the predator because of price (I REALLY want to get something, but I'm a bit short on $ at the moment), but I like the features of the Edge better. The other thing I want to consider is mileage. Which "can" I pick up more with (if there's any difference)? I've heard of 1-2 MPG with the edge, but I don't recall hearing anything with the Predator. If I picked up another 2, that would put me in the 20-21 range.

What's your opinion?

If money is tight and you can find one, I'd suggest the Edge/*** combo. When you start adding tuners for power you really need guages to monitor whats going on with EGT's and boost. The attitude has these built in while you'd have to purchase seperate guages for the other tuner. The programmer can read fault codes while the edge cannot, but the edge has many more safe guards in place for the motor adn the trannsmission. The programmer is easier to remove when going to teh dealer as well.

each has its pros and cons, just search through here and see which is better for your needs. I personally use the Edge/*** and love it. I set the alerts and never have to look at it unless an alarm goes off..plus I love the digital look.

Get'em both and run 40hp on predator and 1-3 on the juice.
