i have read that some people put there trucks in tow /haul when they race is this what you should do and if so what is the reason i run the edge/***.

Some do better with, some do better without, some claim no change

If you do plan to race in tow-haul, be sure to drive it in tow-haul prior to racing. The transmission needs to "learn" the new power in tow-haul mode. It helps to drive with varying pedal positions, and stop and go. You may also want to drive "hard" in tow-haul prior to racing as well, so the ally won't be like :wtf: when you try a hard boosted launch run.

My best times on a stock tranny were done without tow/haul (14.1). On a built tranny, I feel tow/haul makes a difference (maybe because I run more power and have an aftermarket convertor). This is my observation, take it for what it's worth.

I'll head to the track in non T/H., But at every stop sign on the way, I'll do a 4x4 boosted launch in T/H(about 3-4 runs) and take it out of T/H when backing down. By the time I get to the track I run T/H and seems to shift better. Neighbors sure hate me though.

i plan on going up to the sled pulls and drags with mikeL this month so i think i may run this thing for the heck of it and see what it does. i'm use to running in the 8's so
14's -13's will feel funny lol. maybe see if i can find a good radio station to listen to lol

05 2500HD-- sorry to hijack the thread a bit...but what programmers were you running to get a 14.1 with a stock tranny??
