I just installed the Edge w/attitude (ver. 1.2) on my 04.5 lly about 1 month ago . EGT's were showing average of 350 at idle until a few days ago , now at idle they are at 170 - 180 and i can notice a knock from 1500-2000 rpm that wasn't there before . Is this signs of an injector problem or is there something going on with the chip ? Performance seems to still be the same when i stand on it when warmed up , but i have occasionaly noticed a little blue smoke when it is cold and driving gently . I had the re-flash done shortly after i bought the truck and didn't have any problems until lately . :help:

had the same deal.. I sent my prgrammer back to update it was v1.0 and I took my truck into the shop and had the pcm updated

Mine is the new version 1.2 and i had taken the truck in to get a re-flash done on it shortly after i bought it , which was long before i added the chip . Everything was working just fine until i noticed the rattle (knock) and my EGT's were reading low . I don't wanna take it back to the dealer if it is an issue with the chip .

Anyone else got any ideas ? Surely with all the knowledge on this board someone must know what is going on .

Hellyeh, have you checked the probe? From what I have read, they do go bad. Silly question, but have you checked the probe to see if it is tight? It might of come loose and that might be what is making the noise. I just installed mine and mid 300's to mid 400's at idle. Jerry.

Yeah Jerry , that's the first thing i checked . Maybe the probe is bad , causing it to read 50% lower than normal , i dunno i guess that is possible . As far as the rattle i hear , any ideas on what that could be . I guess maybe i'll just remove the chip and pyro , plug the hole , and take it in to get checked out .
