Hey Guys dont shoot me for this. My fiance and I are thinking about selling her yukon. She drives about 100 miles a day and the yukon is killing us. Thinking about the chrysler 300. My question is, is there a website I can go to and see what the dealer paid for the car before I go into the stealer. I would like to take the power away from them and use it to my advantage. Thanks for the help. I figure if anbody knows the answer it wiil be from somebody here. Thanks Mike

You can get the "invoice" prices from just about any
car research website. http://www.kbb.com/ or http://www.edmunds.com/
are two popular ones.

For a great deal, just buy a GM/Ford/Chrysler 2005 model for factory
employee cost minus available rebates. No haggle, and you can't
beat the deal. See all rebates at: http://www.autodollars.com/

[Edit: Ouch, good luck on the 300, it is the only Chrysler model excluded
from the employee pricing. It is currently so popular you will pay dearly
to get one.]

Thanks for the options I just looked and the 300's have no rebate. The last couple of days we went and looked at a couple of mercedes. She seems to like em so we'll see.

The benz is going to save fuel. The yukon is lifted wheels tires you know the whole shabang. 10.5 mpg kinda sucks now that she will be commuting a little further each day. Our lives have changed we don't need to big 4 wheel drive vehicles. When we boought here the Yukon situation was different she had her house and I had mine. We will be getting married in Oct and combining junk. It would be nice to have a car for trips, vacations you get the idea.

Have you considered the fine line of automobiles Cadillac offers?:)

Wifey and I bought an SRX as her daily driver and it's a nice SUV(?); not too big and enough room for the both of us.:D

Better yet, just convince her to get the CTS-V. I tried, but the price tag didn't quite sit well with wifey and the fact that the car is a 6spd manual didn't work either.:(

Hope you find something to fit your needs.

Yeah the cts-v would be nice. She is really conservative with money. We paid off the Yukon in 2 years so that is clear. Probably get 21K (thanks gm discounts) for it. So were looking at spending no more than 25K so we won't have any loans. Thats why were looking at vehicles in that price range. We don't want to be newlyweds with outragous debt. Im in the loan business and I see everyday what some people owe in debt.
The new house we just had done is enough debt.
