1999 dodge diesel 160,000 on it, the wife was driving it, had the cruse set on 65 when she pushed in the clutch, it over reved for a few sec, triped the check eng light, the tach started working intermitantly and it has no power past 60mph, it throws 6 codes, crank sens bad, fuel lift pump bad, and 4 turbo codes, the dodge dealer here says it has no crank sens just a can sens, the turbo seams to be working fine, I changed the fuel filter and fuel pump and that code cleared but the crank sens and turbo code still shows up, when you clear it the tach works as soon as the lite trips again the tach starts going on and off.:help:

Any ideas?

Sounds to me like a bad crank sensor, yes all the dodges from about 92 and up have them. Yours is located in the block right by the starter. If you get underneath the truck and look up by the starter at the block you'll see it. They failed more often in the 98.5 & 99's than other years. But if the ECM loses the crank signal it will go into limp in mode and run strictly off the IP under reduced power. This was a safety feature that dodge had put in(that is what the recall was for on the 98.5 & 99 24V cummins engines). But as afr as overrevving that is pretty difficult to do with a governor(even if the crank sensor goes out), it was probably just its time to go.
